Sense of Space contingency plan

On the day of recording our 'A day in the life' Robbie and myself were walking to Edale woods in the rain, I looked at Robbie and declared that I wanted to take a risk and change our idea last minute because as Debbie said, really speaking it is the wrong time of year to do this project and did not want to ruin our idea as we both think it would be a great project to do, how could we get the birds singing and nature at its best in the rain? So we quickly had to come up with a plan. We knew that we could not use the kitchen because other students were using it so our idea was about a man getting up and getting ready for his day, trying to fit as many sounds as we could in to three minutes, we mentioned that it should be called 06:30 so the audience knows straight away that in the opening scene they know what the time is. So that was our plan, we went straight to Robbie’s flat and wrote out a shot list and then managed to record all our sounds that day in great quality.
